Welcome to the newest addition to Madson Design's products and services. Along with our remodel and new home design services, we have now launched a line of unique home plans, which will become available for purchase in the months ahead. As with our custom design work, these plans all reflect an adherence to our principal of integrated design: open, contemporary layouts at play with the patterns and motifs of vernacular home design from the last century, from Folk Victorian to mid-century Modern.
A particularly unique feature to four of these plans (plans C101a & b, A401, and B401) is their "add on" capacity, reflective of the grand old tradition of adding onto a home part by part, as need arises and when time and budget permit. Plan A401, for example, is a 930 square foot contemporary cottage which is expanded to a 2492 square foot two-story home, with a garage, in plan B401.
